PvsZ won’t work on my new iPad Pro

Plants vs. Zombies 3.18.0 works normally on my older iPad mini running iPadOS 26.4.2, but the same version is permanently stuck on the “LOADING…” screen on my new M5 iPad Pro running iPadOS 26.6.2. I have already reinstalled the app, restarted the iPad, tested it offline, signed out of Game Center, and verified the date/time settings. PvZ 2 works normally on the new iPad.
