can anyone tell me how to make stars in sweet tooth town

sweet tooth town, how do you make stars.  I would like to complete a challenge and cannot because I do not know how to make stars.  the challenge is to make 40 stars

    Hey there, @grama55.

    In Sweet Tooth Town, stars are earned based on how well you did in the level. The higher the score earned during that level, the more stars you earn. I hope that helps!

i guess there is no one out there that can help me.  thanks a lot, I really appreciate all the help

I'm sure you've discovered it by now but maybe someone else will need this info.  I think the answer you were looking for is that the stars aren't made DURING the game.  They show up after you've finished the puzzle and cleared the correct number of each type of fruit as shown on the left side.
