Canasta Cheaters

11/28/2023 at 5:15pm I was playing [Edit - Admin.] in canasta when she called me a cheater. I have played her several times and whenever she is behind in the score, she freezes the game and then I lose points. I have reported these cheating players many times and nothing is being done about it. They need to be banned for weeks for cheating. I am not going to continue to pay for games that I have to put up with cheaters and get no results from the team.

    If you do come across someone else who may be breaking our terms of service be sure to check out our EA Help article on how to report them to the correct team! 

     

    Report players for cheating, abuse, and harassment

     

    From there they will look into the report and take the appropriate action if needed, as there is no additional information or support we can offer on AHQ I will be closing this thread.

    I agree! So many players reset the timer. How are they doing that? It's hard to lose so many ranking points every time someone decides to cheat. Also, so often, the cards are terribly one-sided. All red threes and wild cards to the other player.  I'm not sure what that's about. Frustrating.

    I'm tired of getting all the way to the end of a game and if the other person is losing, they freeze the game,,, you need to fix this POGO or you are going to lose a very long term customer

    Was this really solved? I am about to cancel my membership as well. I am so tired of Canasta players who do not want to lose, having the option of not hitting  "OK" and the game is over.  No one wins or loses any rank points, but that is not the point. I blame the sorry, loser player, but I especially blame EA Sports more for even allowing this to happen.  I know this has been a long time problem and I don't understand why they refuse to fix it. There also seems to be a RED 3 glitch ( the longer you wait to draw your cards, the more likely you are to get a red 3). This is why I assume people are waiting so long to draw.  We all need to just boycott POGO until they start doing the right thing for their customers.
