Hello Pogoians,
How are you all doing on this fine Tuesday? Hope you all had a blast in the Garden Tea Party and came out with a lovely tea set of your own.
We have a lot of great news and fresh game updates to discuss, so let’s get to it!
Welcome to the Construction Zone! Here is where you will find the latest on game updates. What is currently “under construction” on Pogo? As often as I can, I’ll sit down with the Pogo team and get the latest info on which games are being worked on and what’s coming. I will always post more details when I have them available. Please understand updates are subject to change.
Please understand that unless an announcement comes directly from EA and/or Pogo, we cannot endorse it as true. All games and updates reported here in the Construction Zone have been given the “go ahead” and are on track to come out. Anything else that is reported is speculation right now.

- Cookie Connect – Today’s update fixes a small bug impacting some of you. Thank you to all players who reported this issue:
- The Daily Special was erroneously awarding progress on certain Challenges. We are not undoing any progress players gained during this time. Additionally, we’re revising the descriptions for impacted Challenges. Any Challenge requiring a certain number of 3-star ratings will now specify “3-Star Map Levels.” Progress on these Challenges can be gained by playing levels from the map, as opposed to the Daily Special.
- Solitaire Blitz – The in-game event that started today continues through November 30.
- Jewel Academy – A new update arrives in December.
- Jet Set Solitaire – Starting tomorrow, November 18, get ready for a week of extra Daily Challenges for Jet Set Solitaire! We’ve also updated the game flow and now you can easily play from where you’ve left off. And, the Holiday Homeland destination will land in December!

Q. How do I create a frozen pile in Canasta HD?!
A. With Canasta HD being Game of the Month for November, I’ve seen this question pop up quite a bit so I’d love to help you all out.
For Canasta HD Challenges that require winning a “frozen pile” game, you must set your table options to a frozen pile game. Here are the steps:
1. Click on Find a Friend
2. Select the Create a Table button
3. Select the settings you’d like on Table Settings tab
4. Select the options you want in the Game Settings tab and make sure you check the box for “Players cannot pick up the discard pile.”
If you’re joining a table, you will need to look at that table’s Custom Rules. Click on that blue-lettered link and make sure that “Players cannot pick up the discard pile” is among the options if a frozen pile game is what you’re seeking.
Let me know if you have any further questions and good luck with the Game of the Month Challenges!
Thanks again for tuning into the latest Pogo news here on the Pogo Insider. Have a wonderful week of great fun here in Pogo!
Cheers,
Pogo Llama
