Free Event Games will Not Activate

I can't use the "Activate Now" on any of the free challenges.  I tried on the following games, First Class Solitaire, Canasta, Tumble Bees, Aces Up, Jet Set Solitaire, Quinn's Aquarium, Sweet Tooth, Phlinx II, Majong Sanctuary, Snowbird Solitaire; just to name a few.

"Free Event" games "MONOPOLY Sudoku", "Pogo Slots" and "Bejeweled Stars" appear to activate, I play the game, then get no credit for the game.  When I return to the home screen, the game is not activated.  Please advise. Thank you.
