To buy Gems on Pogo Classic, just click on Add Gems next to the Gems count.

@beverly46, There may be more than one reason your screen goes black when you click on the + symbol to buy gems. One cause of a screen going black is that the cache (memory) of your browser might be full. When the browser runs out of memory it just stops trying to do what is asked of it. Normally this applies to games but it might also about to buying gems here. If you haven't cleared the cache of your browser recently, try that first.

You could also try a different browser than you normally use. One time I was trying to renew my membership and it wouldn't work using Internet Explorer but worked using Chrome.
