how can you get gems without having to buy them i have spent a furgine

Is there any way to get gems without having to buy them. I have spent a fortune buying gems to win at quinns!

If you are a Club Pogo member who renews your subscription, you can get the Renewal Rewards for the time period that you renewed for. This includes free Gems, depending on the length of the subscription.

I can win games without paying but they are few and far between. I've probably tried level 34 at least 200 times to no avail. If you look at rooms, they are generally empty. Would think the pogo folks would see this as well. I'm done spending money to win. I do like the game but...................

After reading the answer below, the short answer is no. You get what you get every year upon automatic renewal and that's it.
