Is it possible to take the timer off scrabble completely?

My partner and I don't like playing with a timer as he is learning. It wouldn't let me unselect the timer option when setting up my game, so I instead set it to 10min time limit per turn. Throughout ...

    Hey there, @skikid92.

    It's not possible to remove the timer, however you can adjust how long the timer is (from 45 seconds to 10 minutes), or if you want to go a game limit timer (5, 10 or 25 minutes) instead of turn timer. You can find these settings in the Advanced Game Options under Game Settings when setting up a table.
