Jewele Acadamy-Msg "Collect 17 stars to open gate". Stuck on 300!

Completed level 300 on Jewel Academy, (received 2 stars), but game won't advance. Msg says "Collect 17 start to open gate".   I have attached a  screen shot of this message. Please help me so I can proceed.
