join spades hd table

On the new HD Spades I hosted a table but my friends could not see that table. I made it private and gave them the passcode but they couldn't even see it at all.

This is too complex for old people this will not keep many of us from quitting pogo !!

As the thread you replied to was a few years old and in reference to the previous version of Spades, it was no longer applicable and I moved your post to a new thread.

There's a great FAQ on how to join your friends in games like Spades, Jungle Gin and more HTML5 multiplayer games. You can find it here. (Yep, while it says Jungle Gin HD, it also works the same way in Spades.)

The way you join your friends as it exists now, means your friend has to know you are there at an exact time, and wait for you without playing with robots. Otherwise, you are invisible to them, whether you create a private room or not. The tutorials in Pogo fail to mention this.
Unfortunately, once all the games fade away that allow you to easily join friends, I will also sadly be leaving Pogo after 20 years. I understand that community managers are the voice of EA, however, tell it like it is. Pogo is broken and it seems EA will not fix it.
