I had a few days off there, and am just back in, so I'm playing catch-up. Thank you for flagging this!
I took a peek at my own game, but didn't run into this issue - I wasn't being forced to use power-ups in order to play, or when I picked a chance card, so it may help to get a visual on things. If it's happening for you, could you grab a screenshot or a recording of it?

I'm glad you had some time off. We all need that. However, you have been back for over a week, and we are still experiencing the same problems with the game. I can no longer play the game at all, and therefore cannot complete the daily challenge. How about at least posting that you are aware of the problem, and that POGO is trying to fix it. Silence is almost worse than the games we pay for not working.
