@EA_ArrenaiGood Evening, I just tried the new Spades HD and tried to join and find my friends. I was told that EA was listening to us, yet the find a friend feature is not fixed. Two of my friends tried to find each other this afternoon, to no avail. I know the instructions very well, and tried to guide one of my friends on how to find me. We are not all computer literate. I gave her step by step instructions, which took me a half hour to do. She finally saw me, waiting idly in a room (oh yeah, you can't play with robots while waiting, or you are not visible). She got into the room, and then couldn't play as it would not load. This took 1/2 hour. We gave up, and joined our other 4 friends in bowling. I'm hoping that EA has my ear. I am just one person, however, I think I have voiced the sentiments of thousands of Pogo Members out there. This find a friend feature does not work. It must be fixed, or we will all be gone. It's not a big programming issue. As I've stated other sites that are less sophisticated than Pogo, allow you to easily join a friend. This is an impossible situation. Thank you for your ear. why I cant reach my friends it says they are on but I cant join they table I really don't like this hd spades yall will have to do better cant join nothing put spades back to classic this is the only hd game im having problems with all the other hd game are good but this spades is not

Me and my friend are in the Spades playing game together but cannot put one accross from the other to be on same team together. So dumb....you are going to lose people everyday because it is so aggrivating and it should be fun. Please help us angelmomma1

First off, thank you very much for the feedback. I'll share the troubles you're experiencing with the Pogo team.

As for the game not loading, was this something affecting all players or just your friend that joined you? I'd love to troubleshoot this with those affected.

I to can't find my friend !! but then we figured out if you make the room with a pass word then the friend shows but that don't help when you want two others to play as well grrr

@EA_Arrenai it was a problem with it not loading. Point is, we spent way too much time trying to get in there, then it won't load.. Also, computer overheats with the HD games.. Thank you.

Also had that problem. Was able to finally play with my friend today, stood up and the whole game was lost. When I tried to go back in to find my friend, she was invisible.

@zpatsfan1265, regarding the loading issue, can you give the HTML5 troubleshooting a try to see if it improves loading for you? Please let me know how it goes for you.

Hi,
None of my friends are appearing in my join screen even when I know they have started up games. I tried hosting and my friends had the same problem. Strangers appear to have no problem joining my hosted game? I am wondering if the friend data is just not loading properly into the Join Game screen from wherever it comes from. It's kind of frustrating. I love to play with my people.

This has been extremely frustrating. For YEARS I have come on at night to play with my friends. Now in HD I can't find them. We have tried to figure out ways and each time we hit a wall. Many, many people come here to play with people they have met in Pogo. I have created good friends and they are important--thanks to Pogo. Please, please don't let us lose this capacity!! Thank you for listening to our concerns.
One other concern, now that I am here...we are in the middle of a pandemic. Like we have NEVER seen before. Many people that come here use Pogo as their primary resource for connection. These are elderly, disabled and others who maybe do not have connections in their everyday world. You are closing down their connection at a critical time. I am requesting that you extend the April 9 date to accommodate those who rely on Pogo to connect with others. Thank you for considering my request.

Very good sentiment, Frackattack22. It is even more important to focus on others who do not have the ability like me to go out and socialize to make friends. These people rely on Pogo as a source of camaraderie, a way to make friends when they are unable find company any other way. They need an easy way to connect with friends, and not have to go through hoops to try to connect with them. It is paramount to reach out to this group and make it easy to find the good friends that they have made.
