Unable to activate event challenges

I keep getting a message that I have done as many as allowed for a week.  I tried again this morning and I'm still getting the same message.  Do these challenges need to be done in order?

    Upon reviewing the events and badge descriptions you provided; I see you that you are specifically referencing the Happy Holidays Celebration Event badges 24 & 25.

Could you provide further details regarding the specific event? 

Based on previous experience, when attempting to earn badges for the same game, you may encounter an error, due to the requirement of completing one badge before initiating the process for another. At times certain events will require us to complete them in a particular sequence.

Additionally, there is a maximum limit of two personal badges that can be obtained per week, which may also contribute to the error message you are receiving.

Hi,  they are all of the event challenges for December. I have been trying to activate specifically the merge academy and the but crossword cove badges. I have no badges activated that I have not finished of anything. I didn't know if you have to do those badges in order so I waited until this morning to try again because it said I had played as many last week as was allowed of the event challenges. I have never run into this in the past, I have been able to play the event challenges whenever I wanted to and cannot find anything that tells me different. I've just about given up and I don't know how to contact EA themselves.  Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!
