why has mahjong sanctuary reset itself? I have to start all over?

This is about the very last straw.  I go to play mahjong sanctuary tonight and it has started all over.  I'm on level 793 and I'm just now clearing the play area for the animals.  I did this the first time like two years ago.  Earlier tonight I had no stars now I log back in and have 450.  I'm so tired of doing these games over.  I lose badges every time you make a change, i lose progress and stars in daily sudoku, days are unlocked one day only to be locked the next.  Pay day free cell I ranked out in this game late last year, two weeks ago I log in and see I'm only on rank 31.  This is really starting to make me mad.   Is this like a prime example of covid brain????  Why should I have to pay for these games only to have to re do some every month or so?  I would like to know how many badges I truly have earned over the past 18 or 19 years, I know its far more then what you say I have done.  An explanation for all of this frustration would be appreciated.
