I also have the same issue. Seems like there should be a fix from EA/Pogo.
I also cannot use the Compatibility thing as it says the URL is invalid.
This is the ONLY game that is doing this. Pretty sure that means it's not my computer but an EA issue.
I never did get a response or resolution from the team, after all this time from my original question.
However, I did have to get a new computer in the meantime, and it works fine on this PC. So, whatever the team did to change the game made it impossible to ever work on older systems, which is hardly fair to many players.
