Mahjong Garden - bugs

I have been complaining about this problem for months.  Most recently I called EA help and went through ALL of their troubleshooting, even going so far as to turn off my router, wait and restart after clearing cache, turning off and on computer, changing browsers, closing all other programs, etc., etc.  I see a number of similar evidence of the bug in this game.  Some of these go back more than 1 year and seem to relate to the introduction of the "new tiles."

Ea does not want to fix game.  tiles get stuck after being matched. If you don't pay attention you can go through half a game.before realizing.  have to restart many times.  have complained many times; but it does no good.  At one time you were able to chat with someone; now you can't even do that.  Also gave me hard time with signing on  to EA; always saying password incorrect; finally canceled yearly subscription.  May cancel completely.  roach5467

I quit playng this game. BUT now i have to because it is a weekly challange.....JOKE

I see a green "Solved" button at the bottom of the initial post. the problem is not solved.  Tiles get stuck in the holding cells. Removed tiles mysteriously pop back onto the board.  Sometimes tiles "freeze". i.e., clicking on them has no effect. This game is so full of bugs it's unplayable, and this problem has been ongoing since Mahjong Garden was reintroduced as an HD game.  You should fix it or take it down. 

I'm seeing these problems, too.  I just finished a game but I have one unmatched tile, so I can't completely finish.  Sometimes I notice another glitch earlier in the game but this time I didn't.  As someone above suggested, a cleared tile might reappear.  I'm pretty sure that I had 4 pink triangles at the beginning of the game and matched them; it's just that 1 came back somehow.  I've also noticed that sometimes tiles are frozen; I see them but I can't select them.  Sometimes, when I undo, the tile in that position changes to another tile instead of clearing the box until I click "undo" again.

I'm finding I'm having to play most boards twice before I can finish.  I'm using Firefox 138.0.4 on a MacBook Air with MacOS Sequoia 15.5.

Always happens. I hit refresh. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t. This game used to be my favorite. Since EA took over, this site has gone to hell

I did a bunch of undo's for the above game, trying to see where the 4 pink triangles had been, etc.  Found them, cleared them, and tried to finish it again.    That time, I had a different tile left over.  I decided to try a different browser, closed the game, and opened it in Safari (I'd been using Firefox previously).  The game came up, resuming the game I was doing.  So, I continued doing it.  This time, it finished just fine.  So, I suspect anon above is correct; reloading the game may fix these problems without losing much progress.

Hey folks, this thread has been inactive for over a year so I am going to close it off. If you are having issues with Mahjong garden can I please ask that you create a new thread and provide all the details about the issue you're running into and we'll see if we can get to the bottom of this for you.
