Quinn's Aquarium and Solitaire Blitz, Error "Game could not be saved"

After completing a game of Quinn's Aquarium, I received an error message that the game could not be saved.  So I not only lost progress for two challenges, I lost the power ups I used (2 hints and 2 extra tile holders) that I purchased during in game play.  The same error occurred twice with Solitaire Blitz, at least I didn't use or lose power ups during those games.

I submitted a help ticket and requested ea help via chat, but I was never connected to an agent.
