I ended with 1 season tile at end of game, did it again and had an unmatchable season and flower tile in daily challenge. Couldn't complete game & lost feathers for the day.

I'm having the same problem - one season and one flower tile left over at the end of the daily challenge today, Dec. 9. I play the game every day, never had this problem before. 😬
I was left with one tile and I was able to click on that tile and won the game. I’m not sure what happened, some sort of glitch I suppose.
