I followed your instructions and now I can play cookie connect, quinns aquarium, spades, and jewel academy. I could not play any of those games after the last update and everything else ran so slow. Thank-You so much

My question is, why did not Pogo tell us about this change and why did they not provide us with possible fixes?

The change was made on the side of Chromium, which is the backbone of the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. It took a bit to investigate on our end. Once the Pogo team had information about it, we posted the fixes to the Pogo Blog, which you can find here:

EA_Arrenai your fix did not work for me and some other friends and it was harder to do. The fix that Player_6qdt7pcs posted was very easy to do, and my computer is working like a charm in pogo and it took less than 3 minutes to apply that fix. You might want to repost that fix in pogo. Thanks again Player_6qdt7pcs.

So glad it worked for you, too,.  I was soooooo  verrrrry  frustrated!  But the relief I felt when it worked!!! ohhhh boy!!!
