Mine is back too… for the second time. None of the missing items or war cards restored. Form letter saying they’re still investigating. Both restores happened before a new round of CoM — last time as soon as my club started a war, I was sent back to NI. Since my war store shows A1 items and I’m on an A6 club, I expect that I’ll be sent back shortly :-(. Guess it doesn’t matter much because all my abilities to fight a war haven’t been restored. I’m continuing to document and remain in contact with EA’s form letter auto-bots.
I was able to rejoin my club. We went to war. I was made to redo the booster tutorial. I then launched a single hand slap attack on our opponent and was immediately returned to NI.

EA says it's under investigation. Can EA restore the initialized city data?

Under investigation 5 weeks now I doubt they can or will restore the accounts.

I just submitted another help request asking for an update.
I understand them wanting to figure out the cause, however I don't know why that prevents them from fixing our accounts while they investigate. With so much time elasped it seems that this might not be solved which is unfortunate. No one wins, and since we were all paying customers I fail to see the sense of it from their perspective.

I’m getting pretty frustrated at these responses from EA saying they’re still investigating. I don’t know why they can’t just fix the problem. Even if they don’t have records of all my purchases, I sent them a detailed and itemized list. I don’t see why they are unable to credit my account with those passes, figure out the items that are missing, move me permanently back to the main server.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this matter out of the hopeless customer service loop and to the attention of people at EA who can do something about this?

I contacted there twitter account but that was also a waste of time as there referred me back to support after hours of conversation 😡😡😡😡

I'm worried about EA's response to this data loss. Looking at the terms, it seems EA is not responsible for this.

Got a response today: Our team is still working on this and will get this fixed soon.
All I can do is wait. I have quit playing until this gets fixed.

Looks like a waiting game I’ve also stopped playing as there’s no point the way the game is now.
I think 6 weeks waiting for a solution is madness😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

I’m leaning towards the possibility they aren’t actually working on fixing any of this. Just sending us worthless form letters. If we complain enough we get added to the bi-weekly list of cities that get moved from NI to the main server. If we don’t complain every day, then our tickets are auto closed like nothing even happened. The underlaying problems are not resolved and shortly after reaching the main server, EA’s algorithm detects a software defect as cheating and automatically sends us back to NI. I’m on round 3 of this loop and am beyond frustrated.

I haven't been on the main server since this error occurred. I never got the chance to tell my club what happened to me. None of this makes sense.

I’ve been moved back twice — both times once a CoM track has finished. I think the process is automated and is the result of consistent complaints each day. Someone puts me on the list to be moved when they’re out of form letters and tired of hearing from me.
Each time, once my club went to war, and I launched a single attack (slap), I’m automatically sent back to NI. There’s something from the server crash that caused some variables in the game to automatically trigger EA’s brilliant cheat mechanism. They can’t figure it out nor fix it which is why we are all rotting away in NI.

It's been almost 2 months since the problem started.But the lost data is still not recovered.
Has anyone had EA recover city data? I'm worried that EA will continue to say it's under investigation. - 4 years ago
They've told me to stop contacting them that they'll contact me once they are done investigating. It's not like they're trying to solve a complex crime or something... EA and/or their servers screwed up and they can't figure out why. They should be working to get our cities back on the main server, not closing our tickets and telling us to be patient. It's now been 2 months. :-(

I just keep adding new reports but there all ignored now so I guess the city is gone.

Just waiting for some news, hoping it gets solved but not expecting it. Hard to understand why it's taking so long to figure out.

I'm still pinging them every few days. They say to be patient and that some cities have been fixed. I ask when mine will be fixed. They tell me they're sorry I'm upset and they'd feel the same way. It's been almost 3 months. This is beyond ridiculous.
