A city without skyscrapers.
I got to 5 mid level building before they stopped offering upgrades on new buildings. I think the skyscraper are ugly and I would liked a city with mostly mid level buildings. Why can't I use my space...

A big "Me Too" on this one. They've done such a great job with the varied architecture that I'm wanting to keep a lower-rent section of town, a midcentury-modern section, etc., and want to be able to turn off the upgrade options for some lots.
They could even require keys to re-enable upgrades. Or piles of simoleons.
Otherwise, if this is just a race to have hundreds of skyscrapers and a bunch of helmet thought balloons, I'm not going to be very interested in continuing to play.
