Shame, it would have been better if there was a function that allowed a retake of the snapshot. Thanks for the info.
The trouble is that when you take the snapshot, your design is submitted and any buildings etc you may have used from storage or borrowed from your city are returned to storage. Basically your design has been dismantled.
IMO it ought not be this way. Simply add a step after taking the thumbnail whereby I can either approve it, thus finalizing my submission, cancel the entry, perhaps due to a previously unnoticed flaw, or simply retake the shot perhaps getting better lighting, composition, etc. Moreover, the thumbnail shown for my approval should match exactly the final version as voters/viewers will see it. Here I refer to the aspect ratio and title bar at the bottom. In my case, the final thumbnail is rather different from the way it looked when I snapped it on my iOS device. Often I find I’ve cut off a portion of my scene due to this. Super frustrating to have all my careful meticulous work, including the composition of the final thumbnail itself, come down to, and possibly be wasted by, one simple irreversible button click.
