Ad’s to speed up production on iO

When I initially installed SimCity BuildIt on my iPad I was able to see an ad to speed up production in my factories, but it is no longer possible to do so. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but it does not work. I also have SimCity BuildIt on 2 Android devices and the watch ad to speed up production feature works fine on both of them, but not on either my iPad or iPhone. Even though it might be annoying to watch an ad sometimes it is still nice to be able to do so to speed up production on something that would otherwise take several hours to complete. Is anyone else having this problem with their gameplay on their iOS devices? And does anyone know if there is a fix for this or if Apple users are just screwed out of this feature?

    Thanks for the info. It figures that the gameplay would be variable on different devices. I still don’t quite understand why the ad’s have disappeared from my iOS version for a few months while they’ve never stopped working on Android, but the purchase of the Mayors Pass might explain it. Thanks again!

    I’m pretty sure this feature is only offered when you start out, before you can access speed up tokens. When I started a new city the feature was available again but once you get the department of epic projects they get rid of it. I guess it makes sense that once you have tokens you don’t need it.
