Airport Makes the Game Crash?

Seems like whenever I travel to a neighboring city to buy items, the ones that have started airport construction are laggy and can make my phone crash. I'm thinking of building the airport but I'm worried it will ruin the gameplay of my city if this is the result. Are people with airports experiencing problems?

Building your own airport seems to be fine. But visiting other cities that are constructing their own airport seems to lag the gameplay.
Btw, If you visit Daniel's city, his airport is already finished and there's no lag whatsoever.

If you have a airport you can collectie special items for your Tokio residents. The problem is it takes 18hours for 1 special item. So to make a Tokio skyscraper it takes at least 90 hours of your patiente or a lot of money. So the fun is out of the game. EA is censoring my reaction.
