Android: Nexus 5X + Android Oreo update = Major problems with graphics
Updated my Nexus 5X to Android Oreo and about 50% of the time I start the game the graphics are totally screwed up.
The workaround is to restart the game until the graphics are OK, but that get a bit annoying.
Either it (i) looks like an old school photo negative or (ii) the graphics are replaced by number and letters
Even when it starts OK the graphics for buildings, etc you see when going into the services are black triangles.

Have you already tried to save your city and reinstall the game? Just to make sure there's no issues with the game files 😉
If that doesn't help, and in order to have as much information as possible of this, could you go to About phone/device in your device Settings and take a screenshot of the technical information of your device for us? Also, would you mind sharing a couple of screenshots of what you see so we can also see exactly what is happening? As it's usually said, an image is worth a thousand words 😉
