@okcjj Very well stated...I’m aware of several longtime competitive players that have simply walked away from the game in the last 30 days for this very reason. The “team” has done a poor job of maintaining the integrity of CoM. Constant redundant tasks of very low value or that call for unreasonable resources is the norm. Overvaluation and abundance of war game assignments have ruined the competitive nature of the contest and the level of unaddressed cheating/hacking is destroying it’s credibility.
You are correct, it’s a business and the goal is to generate as much profit as possible and there’s nothing wrong with that. The problem is you have too many folks in the process that have lost sight of the fact (or probably never knew) that you must provide a high level quality product at a cost that represents value to the customer to be successful. Case in point is this week’s chocolate factory fiasco...things happen, but then to tell folks it’s worked itself out is insulting and shows a tremendous lack of knowledge and respect for the player. It’s really sad...and yet not that difficult to fix.
