So I noticed this a while ago...
Cement bags take less time and less items to be made with than paints. Paints take more time and more items... so why is paint more cheap at maximum price than cement bags? It’s not like I don’t like this, I do take advantage of it by making cement to sell and make money. But I’m just curious as to why in general, paints are cheaper when they take more time and items. Thanks!
I believe I can answer this. The reason is that you need paint to make many more advanced items (lawnmowers, cupboards, yoga mat, robe), and so the idea of producing it is more that you can use it to make the advanced items, rather than to produce it simply in order to sell it. On the other hand, cement is only used in the fire pit and the gnome, so it's got less overall usage, so it's like as if the game compensates you for making it by allowing you to sell it for a bit more. I used to make almost exclusively paint and glue, and used them in making the more advanced products, don't actually sell either glue or paint ever
Unless of course you have an assignment and need to clear storage space…but these sell quickly at full price.
