Can't load the update, Can't play the game

I like Sim City Build It.  Have even made purchases to build faster as I am new and it just takes too long to earn real Dollars. But now, suddenly I'm told that as the Mayor I the current game is no ...

    Hi @Dawnieswraps,

    Try clearing your cache by opening your apps from System Settings > Google Play Store > Clear the cache and any updates. Restart your device and open Google Play Store to download the update.

    You should be able to update the game correctly after that.

@EA_Zoe Hi, thank you for replying to Dawnieswraps. Can you please share a solution for an iPad that doesn't involve deleting the app? I've been playing for nearly a year and really don't want to lose my game.
