Hey George,
Been a little over a month since you requested more land which I agreed with (stilll do) and since you termed my use of the term “cowardly” as “pathetic” which I didn’t take any exception to...however I do believe it demonstrates the lack of creativity to assume the only strategy to win is turtling and the use of this strategy is pathetic and cowardly. No one is whining, we recognize it’s legal but the only time it should be considered is if a team has no energy or weapons left within the last hour after engaging in an intense battle. That’s why I proposed the 18 hour rule so if you’re afraid to come out no problem the dome will disappear for you. Of course for win at all cost clubs who do not have the courage to engage in what they signed up for would whine about this if it was implemented.
I take exception to the comment that war gaming...always...always...creates team discontent - I imagine you’re correct from the position of war clubs and turtle clubs, but from the position of clubs that participate in war games, maintain proper perspective, laugh, share and fellowship with each other it’s a rewarding experience. If you have not experienced the joy of a collective effort (win or lose), may I suggest you’re in the wrong club. Take care.
