Club Wars bubble issue
My club (I'm not the president) just lost to a team who got ahead in points and then just left all their citys bubbled so we could not attack them. We lost by only a few points, is there a way to get ...
22bmx,
My response was not directed to you, but obviously you took exception so I would sincerely appreciate you educating me so I won’t be ignorant (would hate for the money spent on my degrees to go to waste)...
Please explain to me the breakdown of the 8 hour proposal, what does it include? Help me understand.
Since you didn’t read my revised proposal I thought I would make it simple to find:
Day 1 - 12 hour bubble (as championed by MT) to repair your city before it is automatically repaired and no war items wii be earned.
- If you have not launched an attack your city will remain bubbled until the mayor makes repairs or until the end of war (not all club members elect to participate in the war game and the club should not be punished more than the initial attacks)
- following the 1st auto repair, the 2nd time the club is bubbled the mayor has an 8 hour window to repair their city and receive the war items or it will be auto repaired and no war items...
- the 3rd time the mayor has 4 hours to repair or the it will be auto repaired and no war items.
- once a club has been auto repaired 3 times they will not be auto repaired again, taking my teammate Mag’s suggestion they will be left open, from the mayor’s perspective they will see no further damage (like when in the protection of the bubble) and can not launch attacks until the repairs are made and war items are earned...but unlike the bubble they can be constantly attacked until the end of the war.
Day 2 - In the last 12 hours if you haven’t been auto repaired you still have an 8 hour window to repair...until the last 2 hours which you get a 15 minute bubble to repair. (only the ones that haven’t been auto repaired 3 times)
So once you educate me on the 8 hour proposal, how about provide feedback on the above proposal and tell me what you would change.
Thanks!
PinnacleValley,
I love the idea. I just think it needs a little simplifying. Like possibly only offering two eight hour bubble periods and maybe a four hour period before making you attackable for points regardless of the bubble.
I understand that not everyone can play all the time. But, I also feel that because not everyone can play all the time, having so many opportunities to stay bubbled will still make it that when People are able to play They can still only get maybe 3 or 4 attacks in per war because there are no targets available.
Sandbagging is making people not play. And you don’t need multiple degrees to know that if people aren’t playing this game they’re probably playing something else. I imagine ea doesn’t want that.
Back in April I proposed the idea that regardless of the bubble you could still be attacked for points. I thought it was a good idea but I realize now that it was a little too simple. But at the same time this 17 hour, 12 hour, 8hour, day 1, day 2 etc. or whatever is a bit much. But it’s definitely on the right track.
Thanks Derek, I appreciate your feedback.
The first limit was actually 12 hours as promoted by Modern Thinker, which actually included consideration for everything but the time zone differences...the 8 hour proposal didn’t take into consideration the basic fundamentals of work and sleep. It was more like since I’m at home this would be great (and I agree) but it’s not very practical or fair. I agree my proposal is too complex so let’s simplify...
Day 1 you get a 12 hour bubble and that’s it (except for the club members that didn’t fire a shot). After 24 hours you get an 8 hour bubble before auto repair takes place. If you were not auto repaired during the 1st 34 hours you will have access to a 15 minute bubble during the last 2 hours.
Do you think this will work?
