I'm going to be absolutely raging if I don't get promoted. Level 55 I am on, and my maximum request was for 1710 plumbob points for 11 firepits (I realised quickly to do the ones with the highest points). I have one task left and when I do it I will sit 6th in the table. How is it far that the guy on top has 8000 more points than me, with 30 levels less than me, just because he gets tasks that give more points. Absolutely farcical, everyone should have the same amount of points to get, its about who doesn't fail their tasks and out of those who do it, who does it quickest. Very, very, unhappy.
There is no strategy to the contest. It doesn't matter if you have built epic buildings so you can create tokens. It doesn't matter if you get your biggest point challenges done faster than anyone else. If EA folks keep it this way at least they can rename it "challenge of luck". I got my top tasks done in the first two days only to get passed by everyone else and fall out of top ten with 16 hours left
