Just finished all 20 assignments in the contest of mayors. I chose every one with the highest value, and successfully completed each one. Now why in the fuc am I not even in the top 20? It is obvious this game is rigged and other, more important ($$$) people are being rewarded with higher payouts offered. Good luck with your game after over a year and more than 2 million people (level 76), I quit. By the way, I was here before the airport was!!! Thanks for all free play.
I don't think it's as you stated. I think it's totally random. That's my opinion based on something posted in one of the groups I'm in on facebook. This picture was posted with still 2 days left. If people get one or more of these tasks, they'll skyrocket pretty quickly, where I've got nothing above 1900 this time around.
Win 5 keys is a lot easier to achieve than most any of the Produce X quantity of such and such. Especially when X quantity takes 2 days, but 5 keys is one Vu disaster launch.
I had a 2400 assignment last time, but that is the highest so far for me. I asked the guy who posted that if he has ever paid real money for anything in the game. He said he has not, so it appears to be random and not tied to real money transactions.
Based on that pic, EA needs to fix it to be competitive since its supposed to be an equal playing field.
