The new update is a disaster. It is no longer fun to play CoM. The rewards in MP are a joke. 2 simoleon coins is a insult. You now have to use your gold tickets to participate which means all. New Mayors will mot be able to participate as it is a very long process to earn gold tickets. The new update had not been loaded properly onto the server as 3 mayors including myself have "Despatch Trains" ad daily challenge. I have now despatched 14 trains and it is still showing 0 of 5. Alot of long term Mayors have already left the game due to the changes in rewards for Club Chest,Vu Pass and CoM. EA should reinstate the rewards and return Contest of Mayors,Mayors Pass,Club Chest,Vu Pass, to how it was. The game is no FUN. 1..

Totally agree with above comments. I already had a hard time to to juggle mayor contest, design and war. And now I have to do a ridiculous things to get 800 coins. First do assignments for ice cream than do even more assignments and then have 800 season coins and you need at least 4000 for a building. After 7 years I am thinking about just deleting my club and quit. It is more stress than entertaining. I am not ready to delete my city that I have build in 7 years and all my collected buildings. But at least quit participating in CoM, and that is actually the only thing I spend money on sometimes.

Not only that, but the residential of the house will not accept either. What's up with the ice cream?

I had quitted this game after the egyptian hospital abuse and I hadn't downloaded the update. But I keep contact in whatsapp with some club members as we've been together for years and this morning they said the COM was not working, so I finally downloaded it and I've checked this has also happened to me: I've dispatched lots of trains but the daily task, the same as yours, keeps 0/5. I had also the weekly task of transporting 1000 travellers by train. I've completed it, so the table should show one of the five remaining tasks, to have access to ten daily tasks again.... No. It has remained with only nine tasks.It's a completely disaster. EA has gone too far. And they have added not one more sort of coin, but three: popsicles, ice coins, and now golden tickets are currency too.They're doing it harder and harder. It's IMPOSSIBLE to enjoy this game. It's pure rubbish. It's a time sucker that destroys lifes with no benefit at all.I'm more convinced than never that I won't get back into it.I've edited the post with images where you can see I have only nine weekly tasks where it says there are still five more to appear, and I have the train daily task to zero, although sending passagers was precisely the weekly task I've completed.

It appears there are 10 weekly tasks, of which you can recycle 5.I agree, this update is a disaster. Everyone complaining about train dispatch and upgrading buildings not working.

If you read my posts I'm exactly in the same situation. I've quitted the game last week after six years of intense slavery to it. I really think I won't play again or buy anything, specially when I've seen today all these hortible changes. This "game" (?) us stressing, exhausting, depressing and vomiting. No trace of joy in it. The only joy was earning buildings and EA has make it impossible...
But I can't erase the city, though... So many beautiful buildings I won, som others I even bought... I stored everything but still I can't delete it. Somehow I'm dreaming something changed and the game went back to be interesting, but I see now it won't be like that anymore...
I'm sad for all this...

Ok, thanks. I've seen now.... I suppose it sets the limit to switch a task to a number of five. So it's supposed if you switch a task you receive another one instead of it without reducing the total amount of ten? Because if you lose a task with the change it's not useful. In mile challenges you switched to see the next one, but here you can see all them from the beginning. It's strange....

Thanks... I've seen it now. I looked at it very fast because I downloaded only to check what t everyone said. I had quitted the game last werk and I really see I can't follow/understood this madness. Too many events, coins, condicions, obligations, tasks. Real life is already hard to cope with. I don't need this torture to make it worst.... 🙀
