- GrumpyBedlam8 months agoSeasoned Ace@Valdonega26 Yeah the castle looks nice etc but if you are aiming for population you might need to tear down your medieval town!
Those Old Town houses look nice but personally I have removed and replaced all the ones I had built 😀
If you are aiming for aesthetics then yeah it looks quite nice 👏 - Valdonega268 months agoRising Vanguard
@GrumpyBedlam Agree! I’m going for a mix of aesthetics and performance. My Capital City has 4,3M population and growing, so I can afford some slack in Frosty Fjords! 😎 Besides, I often borrow those medieval wall sections for the design contest. I tried to pimp the population in the old town houses by giving them all possible specializations. The rest of Frosty Fjords will be a mix of local homes and Epic Buildings.

With some reshuffling, the max. population I could achieve in an Old Town home is 1728.

Some aesthetics in my Cactus Canyon (I don't have Frosty unlocked yet)

Also going for a medieval aesthetic in my fjords! Haven't unlocked Corvin yet but it'll come here. I doubt I'll ever unlock the final region because I'm focusing too much on aesthetics here and in sunny isles!

@GrumpyBedlam @Airdriopolis thanks for sharing those wonderful designs! I just started Cactus Canyon, so this is very inspiring! I used some volcanoes in Limestone Cliffs, too. Wanted to create a Chinese walled city to contrast with the more modern buildings.

Love that design, and the direction this thread is taking! Here's my extremely wasteful Sunny Isles island with only 3-4 houses on!

@Airdriopolis Wow! That’s an amazing design for Sunny Isles! Kudos to you! I kept the first island clean, functional and simple. I’ll use your example as inspiration for the next island, it’s more fun!
