design challenge upload failure

I have had the same problem twice when I have uploaded the design challenge to then be told it hadn’t uploaded. So annoying when you have spent time doing the challenge. Hope they are going to sort this issue out.

Sorry to hear that. Twice must be very annoying indeed and EA need to resolve the problem. Its what Kubernetes is designed to do so their developers shouldn't find it that hard.  There may also be something linked to the latest iPadOS as I'm on 18.4.1 too and connectivity is more fragile now than it was. 

This happened to me too, yesterday. I hit the Submit button with 15 minutes til the design phase closed and it just showed “Your design is being uploaded! Please do not close the game until we notify you”. I waited and waited checking every couple of minutes but it never got past “Uploading”. Eventually time ran out and I got a “Your city design failed to upload”.   What a waste of time and resources doing a design not to mention the missed votes and Design Blueprints rewards.  EA need to fix this although it never should happen in the first place.  I reported it to Customer Service in the app, but I don’t expect anything positive to come of it. Maybe if enough players report it they might look into it.

I am having the same upload problem, but still 12 hours to go, not in the last few minutes.

Despite what it said about not closing the game, I did restart it and it was uploaded!

Mine did the same but then because of the continuous crashing and having to reload the game every 20 mins or so I did that and the design was uploaded when I got back in it and I had 20 mins left to upload.
