Design challenge
Is it just me or do most people who enter not care about the description of the city they are supposed to make? Of course it doesn't help when the voters don't care either. Almost none of the cities...

I am in complete agreement with you. We have talked about this in our mayors club too.
You work hard to complete the design requirements only to be beaten by people that seem to have all the latest relevant buildings and a lot of landscape things.
I also do think it is hard to set rules for these kind of things to make it fair to all levels of players. I am sure it is not to hard for the developers to separate the levels different players are on for the competitions. This would mean that your designs would be fair according to your level. The only thing they cannot account for is people who have more real life money to spend on the game.
