Double epic point weekend rush hour traffic!

Double epic point weekend may be really rewarding and I did well myself but I also had issues this Saturday morning as I found myself battling for what was seemingly common items, couldn't get sofas, tables, wood, plastic , metal, oh my god!....anything I saw that I needed, I was somehow beaten to the punch!

i eventually got my epic build project done and another cheetah building stands in my city but seriously I did not like the Saturday morning rush hour having to shop for common items and end up skunked! I don't want to get into how I got my items but it's ridiculous game play trying to bid for an item and it seems like the whole world is in your room viewing your item, I can't even hesitate to think if I need it or not because by the time I decide, it's already sold!

i seriously think the designers should observe the heavy amount of traffic this game gets, I find it to be like morning rush hour traffic and it even has a period late at night where it dies down but I really think that maybe they fix it better like ,anyone have any ideas on such a fix?

when the weekend ends I'm sure the market will not be so intense but it is insane trying to look very hard and lose a lot of time trying to get a hamburger, or a common couch when they are snatched up as if they were super rare items....really!

    I experienced the exact same situation all weekend continuously. I was able to comlete three cheetah projects but with no help from the Trade Center. You know there is a problem when you cant even find light bulbs!!

    While I can appreciate the opportunity to get double the bonus, holding it on the weekend when EVERYONE is home, and therefore online, made it one of the most hectic events I've gone through so far.  I likewise ended up getting both days bonus, but you had to really be lucky to get supplies, especially on Sunday, since by then not all storage slots had been refilled to capacity after Saturday's run.  I believe it took me twice as long to complete Sunday then Saturday.  I consider myself an 'Evil EA programming designers survivor'.
