Somebody contacted EA and asked about that and they said the number of parts you need increases the more tokens you have created... yeah, a typical EA stunt... so basically, you can never be sure how many tokens you'll make (per day) because the more tokens you make, the more parts you'll need to make more... the support guy also said "I promise it won't keep increasing indefinitely"... great, that's some consolation then...

Ouch that's not very fair for those of us who just started building the epic's and are going for the gold and have no intentions of stop building , would love to see a copy of their response to your question

I'm not exactly sure what or who you were replying to. In many cases it helps if you quote the message you are replying to so it makes it easier to understand who you are responding to and they could then respond to your question. After you hit reply, just hit the quote on the top right and type your response underneath. Do this especially if the message you are responding to is not the last message in the thread. It helps a lot with context.
you may be able to edit your response and add in the quote, I'm not sure, never tried it that way.
Thank you I didn't realize I was doing it wrong .
I've just been using the reply button when commenting, I did not realize I was doing it wrong my apologies
this was in response to the amount of speed up tokens in ratio to the amount of epic buildings being produced ...

The greater number of epic buildings and receiving less speed of tokens if that makes sense

It's not really about right or wrong, but sometimes things can be out of context or just don't know what you're talking about without the quote.
I think I got it now. It really doesn't affect if you're just starting to do epics. It starts out as 3 for turtle, 5 for Llama and 9 for Cheetah. When you add buildings, the more you add the more it will require to make a full token.
I wish they would pick one number and what it is, is what it will be for everyone all the time from now to for always. Why they have this ever changing number of how many it takes is probably my biggest pet peeve within the game. Changing it as you're adding buildings is like changing the rules after the game has already started. It's absurd. Alas, I am not in control and stress not about that which you cannot control.

No, you misunderstood that one. Adding more epic buildings will NOT change the amount of fragments you need to make a full token.
The number of parts increases when you have created (completed) more tokens.
I don't see how this system is "unfair" to anybody because it's the same for all players... of course it's annoying, but personally, the limit of 5 tokens you can own at one time (unless you win them) bothers me much more than the increasing number of fragments needed. They want to limit the stuff you can get for free so you're more likely to spend money, that's just how the game (and EA) works...
That said, I think you get plenty of free play out of SimCity and you can play it quite nicely without spending money or spending only a few dollars (in total, not per month) and I quite like the epic buildings. - I'm not entirely sure about the mayor's contest yet but we'll see how that works out once I get into it (was on vacation for a while...)
