Expand farmer market and stores?

Is it worth expanding these to have more than the 2 slots they start with? Especially the two that produce nails and boards; and hammers etc.

It is only useful to put items in a longer queue when you are not playing for several hours. For example overnight.

If you queue up several items while playing, it could be really frustrating, because you can not change the order once you selected items.

Couldn't have said it better myself. +1 for you there.

I always open the first 2 slots. They doesn't cost much and can be helpful.

I have used my simcash only for opening up these slots. I think I have opened up 4 slots in my hardware store and building supply. Next slot is 22 simcash. Now I can queue up 5 bags of cement and 5 shovels before I go to bed and have good stuff to sell to NPC's or the marketplace when I wake up.

Another advanage to having more slots is that if you run into a space crunch (full storage and need to build something else in the factories) the more open slots you have, the more stuff you can queue up to remove items from your storage. Especially helpful when the cargo ship arrives and they want 22 iron and you only have 6 spots left in your storage...

I haven't yet added more than 1 slot  to the furniture store or garden center yet as it is a bit harder to have enough resources to have a bunch of those going at once.

I've been playing this game for almost a month now and expanding store slots is the ONLY worthy thing to do with Simcash.

I've 6 slots on the hardware, building and farmer stores, 5 on the garden, 4 on the fashion one, 3 on the furniture and donuts nad 2 on the rest. It's really useful since when you go to sleep, you can queue up a lot of stuff and they'll be ready when you wake up 🙂

    Minor points but...

Why can we 'collect' factory products while we are accessing the factory, but we can't do that when we are accessing the retail stores?

Why can the factories run several manufacturing lines at once, but the retail stores only line things up and do them one at a time?

Good points karincanada, I've brought that up in other threads. Production should happen simultaneously on item slots in the retail stores as they do in the factories. I would also like the ability to cancel production on an item.

In response to the original question I agree with john and cz. Open the slots on the important stores at least to five spaces
