Also, what happened to the disaster specialty items? There used to be tons available, but now I never see any at all. Please increase the frequency of those items so that we can get more.

The advertised items are just what people are throwing away, of course the selection is always going to suck because it's all unwanted items. The way to do it is to manufacture your own stuff or trade with friends.
Does anyone voluntarily pay to advertise in GTHQ? Or is it only by accident? All part of the plan?
