- ApprovedAnonymous10 years agoI'm on an S5 on Vodafone and have the same issue. I have switched off the option to update over wifi only so I can try and update using mobile data but there is no update button, just the message about device compatibility.
Same issues here, mine is Tmobile Galaxy s5 and it says its no longer compatible. Out of all my devices, my super old tablet is compatible with the update..

I have same problem on my Verizon Ellipsis. Mine is incompatible now, at level 45, but my husband s identical tablet updated just fine.
Hey Everyone, I think I got it. (Atleast for Android users, I don't own a iPhone) Go to your settings, go to applications and open up the Google play app, hit uninstall updates, next time you open the Google play store it will launch a much more generic version of the app. Search for Sim City Buildit in the store and you should be able to do an update...
Seems to be working for me now.

Tried this it starts updating but it seems to crash before it finishes the update each time. Samsung S5
