Hello. I just tested the global market out and have some numbers for you. I tried looking through the market 100 times for shovels, hammers, nails, bricks, and grass. Out of that 100 times, I clicked on 26 items to try to buy them so that's about a 25% rate of finding an item I was looking for. Out of those 26 times I tried to buy something, I was successful 6 times. That's less than a 25% success rate of trying to buy something after going to that item I found in the market. Out of 100 tries surfing through the market, I was successful 6 times. I purchased nails 4 times and grass 2 times. That's a 6% success rate of trying to buy an item from the global market. This is average. I hope you can now get a picture and hopefully understand how frustrating it is trying to buy an item from the global market. Please try to get the devs to implement my idea of an item search. PLEASE! I'm confident that this would make everyone much less frustrated with this game. I know I would be much less frustrated and would enjoy this game a lot more. I'm getting to the end of my patience with this game and if something isn't fixed soon to alleviate this issue with the market, I will have to give up on this game and look for another game to play. I've already spent money on this game twice and would spend more in the future if the market was better. If it doesn't get fixed, I won't be spending any more money. I'm not spending a dime until the market is ether fixed, or I just quit playing.

I have just timed how long it takes from selecting a product I want to buy up 'til the moment when I reach the trade depot and the item is either available or it's already sold : 10,3 seconds on my Nexus 7 with excellent internet connection.
This does not include loading the global Tade HQ and searching for the item, neither does it include traveling back to my city and entering the HQ again.
I also ran another test where I wanted to buy bricks (any amount, any price). I quit after exactly ten minutes of constantly refreshing the Trade HQ and searching for bricks. During those ten minutes, I visited 5 cities (the only 5 selling bricks out of numerous HQ refreshs), but I was always too late.
This just demonstrates how useless the trade center is.
I hope EA addresses the elephant in the room and will announce a trade center update very soon!- Anonymous10 years agoIt should be called GLOBALTRADE LOTTERY you have thousands of poeple playing and only 24 items showing for 30 seconds, being able to get something is slim and next to none, if you do get something you feel as if you WON IT not bought it, there should be a store to buy what you need even if you have to pay a fairly hefty membership fee first in order to join, the airport costs $120.000 it's more like a lottery

Is the 30sec refresh also enforced server side? With all the 'sold already' I feel that a bot is querying your trade server more frequently than the ui only (?) 30 sec restriction.
Maybe that's just me being a frustrated sore loser, to use the above poster's euphemism 🙂
