Graphics options?

I'd like to be able to zoom out more, to see my whole city at once.

Also...how do you tilt the camera? I keep ending up looking straight down and I perfer looking across but can never get back to that angle. I have 2 left thumbs!

this can't be the reason, because all iOS devices are a way older than the old android devices. Look at the "new" iphone 6, it has tech specs from the nexus from 2012. Same thing with the othe rapple devices, they have all older hardware, apple users pay for the logo, and the name, not for a good hardware.

btw: When I develop a new game for android, and optimize it for a lower mid-class device like as the asus memo hd pad 7 WITH highest energy-save-mode(~half power), then it works everytime on each iOS devices without framedrops(lags) when I port it to iOS

btw2: maybe is there also an device detection activated, so that the game can determine your device via android and set the best graphic settings.

Sim city isn't that bad in graphic terms as I play on Android. My phone is about 1 year old and can play Sim city smoothly. I don't think EA are gonna add graphic options as not many people are experiencing this.:manlol:

Yeah I noticed that. No matter if I watch a video on YouTube or ask a friend who plays the game, nobody has this issue and I have no idea why I have it. I have an Asus MeMO Pad 7 ME176C and I have friend who's playing on an older and weaker phone.

This just hit me, is it possible that it's because of the 64-bit Intel chipset? It has a Z3745 CPU and Intel HD Graphics.

btw: I have also no shadows on my asus memo 7 (model: ME173X with Mediatek A7 Quadcore and PowerVR SGX544)
It's a low/mid class test device - depends on energy-save-settings. But it has more benchmark performance as the 'galaxy tab 3-7', 'kindle fire-7' and 'ipad mini'. (proof: http://www.notebookcheck.com/Test-Asus-Memo-Pad-HD-7-ME173X-Tablet.97543.0.html )

As I've said: It seems that they change some graphic settings for some devices.

Doesn't zoom much on a Samsung Note 2 but it's OK. Good enough to get around.

Would be great to be able to turn off the grid marks until they're needed. Especially the border line between the highway and the city that cuts through the outermost buildings sometimes when the view is moved, as if it's magically suspended in the air. If it can't be turned off and on, it should be on the ground (obscured by the buildings).

I have a Galaxy S2 and the same thing happens, low zoom, no shadows, no building reflections

I am also running the game on my PC using bluestacks:  i7, 6gb of ram, Radeon 5800 vid card...  and the same thing happens, low zoom, no shadows, no building reflections

I played on Xperia z4 tablet. but there are no shadows and light tracks when pickup things, cannot zoom out far enough cannot zoom in close enough, cannot change the camera angle so much, and i think i cannot see the small lil humans walking too. it's kinda weird coz xperia  tablet z4 have awesome graphics and processor so it should support highest graphic for the game. I think the autosettings maybe depends on the screen ratio... idk.

I played build it with sony bkb50 using the touchpad and i love it!

I also have the same problems with Xperia Z4 Tablet.  I got a fairly generic response from support previously when I raised the question, basically insinuating that the experience is optimised depending on your hardware performance and the Z4 tablet wasn't up to it!

This is FAR more likely to be poorly optimised or just completely untested on this hardware.  The Z4 is packing a Qualcomm 810 soc, yet its running zoomed in, all graphic effects off and treating it like some first gen android hardware.  Come on EA  - you can do better than this.
