how is tax calculated?
if happiness goes down tax drops from 20% to 14.. 10 and so on but what does 20% represent? and how is it calculated. ive boosted my population by 30k, and my tax income has hardly increased by 400...

I suspect taxes are only based on the base population and not after any specializations like parks? Maybe the citizens have some massive tax deductions.
For 120,257 population I am getting "20%" of $12,364. I'm basically getting half of what would be 20%.

for 138082 population i get 12685. if it would be around maybe 10% or so i would accept it, but it seems there is another way to calculate it ☹️
