How many epic buildings to make tokens?

It will top out at some point, but I have yet to hear what the number is. I can tell you that just 4 Turtle buildings will still produce a Turtle speedup token with one piece left over, so it's not an immediate change.
Also, it doesn't have to be turtle buildings to affect turtle buildings, it could be any Epic. For instance. I had 2 Turtle buildings, 6 Llama buildings and 7 cheetah buildings. When I placed my 8th cheetah, Llama now required 7 pieces to make a Llama speedup token. Exactly what will affect what is a mystery, but you're still better off converting as many as you can to increase your piece count, which will, in the end, increase your token count....eventually. 🙂 Besides that, Epic buildings have a higher population count, so it is also a means of increasing the population without going up in levels if need be.
