Agree. This is a desperate cry for money from EA. And guess what, they added another timer... Really EA, really??
They just keep KILLING their own game. Their biggest chance of me actually spending real money on this was before they made all the changes and screwed the game up. Now, forget it.

I payed 3000 yen for the game and still never received any discount.
- I'll take them up on it when it's free. But seriously EA is the only major developer that makes selective offers like this, that I know of. My other freemium games have at least 1 special offer a month for everyone. Particularly good offers on holidays too.
edit: Just got the 80% off! 250 for $.99......No thanks
