I've also noticed that the VU tower is 40,000 Simoleans - rather than 60,000 as it was last month. I'm not sure if this changes with the version releases or if it's controlled on the server side. I'm glad I waited to buy it.
Great update...Trade Network also seems to be more diverse. Love the new beach content. Can't wait to put down my marina.
