I know it’s been asked previously years ago.
But I’m still experiencing an issue where maxis manor covers the houses ok. And I have an exclamation mark advising I have no clinics - so I bought a clinic just to trouble shoot it- now it’s saying no fire protection? Why am I having to spend sim money and also coins on things and it not working? What might I be doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Make sure it’s connected to a road firstly and make sure the ‘ Coverage area’ covers all residential buildings that need to be protected, you do this by pressing and holding on it ‘till you can move it, at the junction you should see coverage area and see what’s not covered. You can move buildings around to make sure they come under the Maxis ‘ umbrella’, hope this helps
Paradise- thanks for your reply. Definitely attached to a road and within the umbrella - right next door. I moved it around I moved the maxis around. Nothing. I then purchased a full size hospital it asked for a fire station. By now it was on fire. I purchased a full size fire station. It asked for a police station. Even though still under the umbrella of the maxis manor. I purchased a full size police station. So at this stage I’ve spent 1000 sim dollars. And then coin for all the clinic fire and police. It remained red and then asked for power sewerage water etc even though it didn’t want it prior- and was more than covered for the city. This one house wouldn’t stay covered by anything. I wrote to EA to say this is a glitch surely- no response yet. But I have spent a lot of money wasting it just to cover a house that wouldn’t recognise it was covered. In the end I bulldozed the house and the game is back to working. But I’m annoyed I have a maxis there that’s been paid for and won’t work. But thanks for your response. Very much appreciated.
If you join my Club, if only for a visit , I will then be able to see your City in it’s entirety, and I maybe able to troubleshoot it for you, I’ve been playing for a long long time , so if I actually was able to see it, we could potentially troubleshoot it through Club Chat.
