More diverse rewards in Mayor’s Pass, please!

Most of the reward buildings in Mayor’s Pass belong to the Mayor’s Pass category. After completing multiple seasons with Premium Pass, I’ve accumulated a large collection of these items. However, adding them to my city no longer provides a population boost since there are already too many. Additionally, some buildings have footprints that are too large to be practical within an existing city layout (this also applies to Landscape items). As a result, I have a significant stockpile of unused Mayor’s Pass buildings.

I’d like to request @EA to introduce more variety in the rewards for upcoming Mayor’s Pass seasons. Like many players, I’m looking for compact (2x2) buildings with high population bonuses, particularly in specializations such as Transportation, Entertainment, Gambling, and Landmarks. These classic SCBI categories currently lack diversity. Incorporating new designs in these areas would make future Mayor’s Pass seasons far more appealing. Thanks!

    You are absolutely correct in what you say, I have 500+ mayor pass items in storage that I don’t even use because of the size of them. I need to open my last region and then I can use a few there.

    I’m using a corner of Limestone Cliffs to offload all my italy-themed Mayor’s Pass buildings. As you can imagine, the Florentine residential buildings are all maxed out on Mayor’s Pass, yet there’s little room to squeeze in some Gambling or Entertainment. It would have been awesome this Season (Verona) to have Due Torri hotel under Landmarks, Piazza Erbe under Parks, or the Arena and/or Roman Theatre under Entertainment, for example! Let’s see what’s in store for the Limited Time Event! 🤓

    The trick is to replace buildings with a better boost than the existing ones. 🤔

    HiGrumpyBedlam , good point! It just occurred to me that I could import and upgrade more of the small (2x2) footprint specialization buildings from my regions into my Capital City, replacing the larger footprint ones. For example, the Tea House from Limestone Cliffs, once upgraded to 60% bonus, could replace Oslo Opera House, freeing up three 2x2 spots for additional housing.

    One of the smaller Mayor's Pass buildings lately and probably one of my all time faves is this one and it has a 60% boost which in this position it's giving me almost 44.5 thousand mouths to feed.

    Eventually I will place it somewhere else but at least in my capital I will see it most days 🤣

    I've been sitting out DC recently, finding it too repetitive and a drain on my time and resources. I was concentrating on getting the last region unlocked, that is now done so I might take a swing at the next DC season 🤣

    Congratulations on opening your last region! I can highly recommend this DC season’s rewards.. San Polo Venice (Landscape item, built on water) is fun to have, and so is the old manuscript library shown above. You’re right that it’s time consuming, yet it also feels very rewarding to see the votes coming in for your design! EA listened to complaints of previous season and no longer requires special (Premium Pass) buildings to achieve the full bonus.
