Mutiple train stations within the same region on SCBI

I can't operate two train stations simultaneously within the same region on Simcity BuildIt. Is this a known issue?

    You can have 1 million stations in the same region but they have no effect on how often you can dispatch trains.

    @f2aj5m0efycy That's my point-if you have multiple stations in different regions, the game should be setup in order to operate more than one station in multiple regions. It was merely a suggestion I was making to enhance game play.
